More… A handbilll distribution permit is required for each applicant that will be distributing or circulating any printed or written handbills, posters, dodgers, or other advertising matter within the Town of Erie’s jurisdiction. The application is filed with the Town Clerk’s office and the fee for such a license is $5.00 per day. Each permittee shall carry the handbill permit and personal identification at all times while distributing handbills, and shall present such identification upon request. Unless the Town Clerk finds grounds for denial, the Office of The Town Clerk shall issue the handbill permit within ten (10) days of the receipt of a complete application. Any person violating any of the provisions of Municode 4-2B-4 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punishable as provided in title 1, chapter 4 of the Code.Less…
