You can cancel your reservation up to one hour before the start of class. The sooner you can cancel your reservation, the better so we can allow patrons on the waitlist to get into the class.

GroupEx Pro (GXP) is a third-party group fitness scheduling software that we use for patrons to view the group fitness schedule and REGISTER for group fitness classes.
We use GroupEx Pro to create and maintain our Group Fitness Classes because the software is specifically designed for fitness classes, unlike Amilia. It allows us to easily create our weekly class schedule complete with class descriptions, instructors bios, a reservation system so you can secure your spot in class, manage a substitution list so we don't have to cancel classes often, and an internal contact list to keep our instructors connected!
No! It’s a free system but you will still have to pay to come into the facility via membership, punch pass or drop-in fee. When you come in for a fitness class, please continue to check in at the front desk, even if you have already signed up for a class.
No. GXP has an app but it’s only for instructors to manage their class schedules and attendance. To view the schedule and sign up for classes, you will need to find the schedule on your web browser at https://groupexpro.com/schedule/61/?view=new. We suggest bookmarking this schedule on your web browser for easy access.

Yes. We strongly encourage everyone to register to hold their spots in our group fitness classes. Registration for all classes will open one week from when the class is scheduled.
Due to an increased demand of our classes, beginning February 1, 2024, if you no-show (meaning you sign up for a class and do not cancel or show up to the class) three times in a one-month period, you will have to take a short, 2-week break from signing up for our classes.
Yes, you are able to try and walk-in to a class during your two-week break, you just won’t be able to pre-register and we cannot guarantee there will be space for you to join as a walk-in.
No, even if the class is not full, we still need you to cancel your reservation. No-showing to a class that is not full, still results in a tally towards your allotted three no-shows in a month.
No, our guest service team at the Erie Community Center is unable to manage your GroupEx Pro reservations. You must sign up for classes on your account, as well as cancel your reservations on your own
For your safety, we do not allow participants to join classes more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. The first 10 minutes of a group fitness class is typically a time to warm up and joining class without aa proper warm up is likely to result in a n injury. Patrons are given a 10-minute grace period- should you be running late on occasion. After 10 minutes, your spot/bike in class will be given to someone on the waiting list.
No. Each person must create their own account and reserve their own classes.
Yes, but we cannot guarantee there will spots open for you in the class. All classes are limited in space and number of participants. If a class is full, the patron who has registered for the class will be given priority in the class over the person who did not register. Please make sure you check in with the instructor to see if there is space for you to join a class you did not register for.
Yes! You still must check in at the front desk before you go your fitness class, even if you have registered in advance for the class.
