1. Is there parking available near the event location?

Street parking is available around the event venue. If street parking is not accessible, you can find parking at Coal Creek Park (575 Kattell St) and Town Hall (645 Holbrook St). Bike parking is also available at the Erie Bike Plaza (corner of Pierce & Wells St).

2. Is there ADA parking available?

ADA Parking will be located at designated spaces at the Coal Creek Park (575 Kattell Street) parking lot.

3. Will there be food available at the event?

We encourage participants to visit any of our wonderful restaurants located downtown.

4. Will the be restrooms available?

Restrooms will be available at Coal Creek Park (575 Kattell Street), and portable restrooms can be found at 515 Briggs Street.

5. How do I register for the costume contest?

To secure your spot, please pre-register prior to noon on Friday, Oct. 27. NOTE: There is no day-of registration for the contest.

6. How do I vote for the Storefront Decorating Contest?

Voting QR codes can be found at participating businesses or you can find them at the Parks & Recreation welcome booths. One booth will be located near the entrance of Briggs & Moffat Street, and the other will be next to the stage on Briggs & Wells Street. 

7. Are dogs allowed?

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. For your pet’s comfort and safety, it is recommended to leave them at home. This is an extremely busy event with not much walking space.

8. Is this a zero waste event?

Yes, the Town of Erie is working towards reducing the amount of waste that ends up in the landfill at all of our events, including Boo! on Briggs Street. This take an all hands on deck approach! When attending events in Erie, be a zero waste champion in three easy steps:

1. Pack out what you bring in. Don’t forget your reusable water bottle!
2. Think before you toss. Events will have 2-3 bins for your waste. Check signage attached to the bin to ensure you are disposing of your trash in the right bin.
3. Reduce contamination. Tell your family, friends, and neighbors about this effort and share zero waste knowledge across the Town.

9. Is there access to the Post Office?

Yes, you can. However, please note that road closures will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.. You can reach the Post Office via the east alley off Briggs Street, and our staff will be available to assist with traffic flow. Clear signage will guide you to the Post Office.
