Audit Report and Comprehensive Financial Report

On Tuesday night, the Board of Trustees were presented with the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year ending December 31, 2018. The Town's official annual financial report is comprised of four sections: the introductory section, the financial section, the statistical section, and the compliance section. The CAFR may be viewed online.

National Parks and Recreation Month

July was proclaimed the Parks and Recreation month for the Town of Erie. The Parks and Recreation programs increase prosperity, improve the mental and emotional health through activities, and are fundamental to the environmental well-being and quality of life in our community.

Trail Wayfinding Master Plan

The Town entered into an agreement for services with Design Concepts to create a Trail Wayfinding Master Plan. On Tuesday evening, the Trustees adopted the master plan that identifies the need for trail signage that includes directionals, regulations, place names, interpretive signs and trail head signs. The Town currently has more than 90 various sign types with inconsistent placement.

Oil and Gas Moratorium

The Board of Trustees extended the temporary moratorium on the acceptance, processing and approval of any applications under the Unified Development Code related to oil and gas exploration, extraction and related operations until January 28, 2020.
