WHERE: Erie Police Station & Municipal Court Building, 1000 Telleen Avenue, Erie
The Erie Police Department is participating in a National Prescription Take Back Day to aid Erie residents in removing potentially dangerous substances from their family medicine cabinets. To participate please bring all substances to the Erie Police Department & Municipal Court Building, at 1000 Telleen Avenue, on Saturday, October 27
th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A national prescription take back day provides a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted or unused controlled medications other pharmaceutical substances to law enforcement officers for destruction.
ITEMS WHICH CANNOT BE ACCEPTED FOR TAKE BACK:- Needles and Sharps
- Mercury (thermometers)
- Oxygen Containers
- Chemotherapy/Radioactive Substances
- Pressurized Canisters
- Illicit Drugs
