Anadarko has notified the Town of Erie they will be on several locations in and around Erie over the next few weeks to provide maintenance or plug and abandon oil and gas wells. The upcoming locations that will have activity include:

UPRR 43 PAN AM AB 1
On March 22, 2018 Anadarko began to plug and abandon the UPRR 43 PAN AM AB 1 well, located south of Weld County Road 10 and east of Weld County Road 7. Work on this site is expected to last 1-2 weeks. According to Anadarko, flaring of gas could potentially be spotted at the site of this well during this time.

Tallgrass 5-8, Tallgrass 6-8 & Tallgrass 7-8
Anadarko will begin plug and abandon operations for the oil and gas wells Tallgrass 5-8, Tallgrass 6-8, and Tallgrass 7-8 located south of Rue De Trust and east of Weld County Road 3. This operation is expected to begin on or around March 27, 2018 (Tallgrass 6-8), April 2, 2018 (Tallgrass 5-8), and April 5, 2018 (Tallgrass 7-8) and last 1-2 weeks respectively. According to Anadarko, flaring of gas could potentially be spotted at this well site during this time.

Champlin 32-10 2
On March 26, 2018 Anadarko began a Mechanical Integrity Test (MIT) operation at the oil and gas well Champlin 32-10 2, located north of Weld County Road 10 and east of Weld County Road 7.  This operation is expected to last 3-5 days. According to Anadarko, flaring of gas could potentially be spotted at the site of this well during this time.

State 4-16 & 5-16
Anadarko will begin plug and abandon operations for the oil and gas wells State 4-16 and State 5-16, located south of Weld County Road 10 and east of Weld County Road 5. This operation is expected to begin on or around March 29, 2018 (State 22-16) and April 2, 2018 (State 4-16), lasting 1-2 weeks respectively. According to Anadarko, flaring of gas could potentially be spotted at the site of this well during this time.

State 22-16
Anadarko will begin plug and abandon operations for the oil and gas well State 22-16, located north of Erie Parkway and east of Weld County Road 5. This operation is expected to begin on or around April 5, 2018 lasting 1-2 weeks. According to Anadarko, flaring of gas could potentially be spotted at the site of this well during this time.
