Courtesy Notice from Anadarko Petroleum Corporation
The Town of Erie has been notified by Anadarko that they will begin routine maintenance activity on an existing oil and natural gas well near Erie Community Park. According to Anadarko, they were at this location a few weeks ago changing out valves and identified additional maintenance needs on two of the seven wells.
The work is scheduled to begin on or around April 13, 2017 and will take approximately one to two weeks. This activity will require heavy equipment and a work-over rig. In an effort to reduce the inconvenience to the surrounding residents, crews will be working on site during daylight hours only. The work will take place Monday through Friday, and only if the needed Saturday operations may take place. Residents may notice a slight increase in traffic and are likely to hear the activity during operations.
