Cone ZonesEach week we list the projects that may have the biggest impact on traffic flow for that week. As always, please sign up for alerts to get more details about these projects and many others. More information and details for how to sign up are at www.erieco.gov/ConeZone. County Line/Coal Creek Blvd – We appreciate your patience and understanding with the ongoing infrastructure changes in southern Erie. An important milestone is on the horizon: Coal Creek Boulevard and Monroe Street are projected to be fully operational by Tuesday, June 20. The permanent closure of County Line Road, from Hwy 7 to Monroe Street, has been necessary to complete utility work for the Lafayette Water Reclamation Facility Expansion and Parkdale development projects. In the interim, motorists may use the 119th Street and Arapahoe Road detour. When complete, Coal Creek Boulevard/Monroe St. will serve as the primary southbound route to Hwy 7. We continue to coordinate with the Parkdale Developer, Xcel, and CDOT to ensure timely completion and smooth transitions. For updates, monitor our social media and Cone Zone webpage, and for any questions, reach out to us at the provided numbers. Thank you for your cooperation. Road work is weather-dependent, and timelines may shift. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians should always be aware and use caution when in and around work zones. Whenever possible, please avoid the construction areas.
