Who is Laura Durstock?
I’ve been with the Erie Police for five and a half weeks! I’m the new Code Enforcement/Animal Control Officer. My past work experience has been in various aspects of dental work ranging from pediatrics to orthodontics.
?What do you love about working in Erie?
Absolutely the people! I love the sense of community and how we’re here to help each other.
Why did you want to be in Law Enforcement?
I wanted to serve in law enforcement because I believe that everyone can make a difference.
Tell us about your average day.
I’m in training at the moment, so every day I learn, learn, and learn some more.
What are you doing when not working?
When I’m not at work you’ll find me with my family. We love to hike, paddle board, and go camping.
Favorite Movie and Music?
My favorite Movie is Jack Frost
