Opt-In Erie

National Preparedness Month occurs every September. In observance this year, Erie PD is raising awareness of the Emergency Alert system and hosting a TEST!

Erie is one of the first communities in Boulder County to test the system locally.

How to RSVP

  1. First, program the number that will alert you into your contacts. We suggest a name like ‘Erie Emergency.’ Adding the number as a contact will also help avoid call blocking. Consider creating a unique text or ringtone for the contact. The number is 303-441-1400 or 911Alert@bouldercounty.org.

  2. Next, if you haven’t already, opt-in your cell phone by choosing the first option on the webpage, ‘ALL residents in Erie.’ Customize your preferences, and choose up to 5 addresses.

In the morning hours of Tuesday, September 13, you will receive a scheduled TEST alert (unless any other incident takes precedence).

Lastly, we ask that you share the opt-in information with all of your friends and family.

If you experience any technical difficulties during testing, please visit the Emergency Alerts webpage to read FAQs, learn how to submit for help, and more.
