Lane Shifts on Hwy 7, West of County Line Road – July 13

Beginning Wednesday, July 13 through Tuesday, Nov. 1, the contractor HEI Civil will be installing a new streetlight and will be doing extensive road reconstruction on Hwy 7, just west of County Line Road. This timeline is weather dependent and may be extended in the event of extreme weather conditions. The project is part of the new Parkdale Neighborhood residential development, but as the work itself is located on a State Highway, the contractor and project will be managed by CDOT. 

For this work, through lanes on Hwy 7 will be shifted around the work zone to facilitate traffic safely through this area. The lane shifts will remain in place through the duration of the project – even overnight, outside of typical construction hours - but traffic will have full access in both directions.  

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
