Lane Shifts on Erie Parkway for Utility Work – July 9

Starting on Saturday, July 9 through Monday, July 18, HEI Civil will be working in Erie Parkway on utility lines. The contractor will be installing a new non-potable water line and abandoning an existing utility line in Erie Parkway - east of the WCR5 intersection - as part of the new Westerly Neighborhoods residential development. The timeline for this work is weather dependent.
 
For this work, traffic lanes will be shifted around the work zone on Erie Parkway to move traffic safely through this area. Traffic will be able to move in both directions of Erie Pkwy for the duration of the construction work, but the lane shifts will remain in place overnight.
 
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
