Meet Detective Burch
We thank you for your continued support and introduce you to a recent assignment to the Investigations Section of the Erie Police Department.
Who is Detective Curtis Burch?
I've been with Erie since August 2021. Previously I worked at the Laramie County Sheriff's Office in Cheyenne where I retired as the Detective Sergeant after 20+ years of service. I will now be a Detective at the Erie Police Department.
What do you love about working in Erie?
I really enjoy the community and the people I work with.
Why did you want to be in law enforcement?
I find the work to be very rewarding.
What are you doing when not working?
I enjoy spending time with my family. My hobbies are fishing, golfing, and yard work.
Favorite Movie and Music?
My favorite movies are "The Sandlot" and "The Shawshank Redemption".
