119th Street Reduced to Single Lane for Utility Work May 2

On Monday May 2, HEI Civil, as part of the new Parkdale Neighborhoods residential development, will be conducting utility and roadway work on 119th Street between Arapahoe Road and Baseline Road. For this work, traffic on 119th Street will be restricted to a single lane with flaggers and Automatic Flagger Assistance Devices in place to facilitate traffic safely through this area. 

Single lane status will be in place during daylight hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. The road will return to two lanes after those hours. Work on this stretch of the road is anticipated to continue through the end of summer.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
