Who is Commander Heather Carmosino?

I have been a Commander with Erie for 3 weeks. Prior to this I was a Commander with Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for 16 years.

What do you love about working in Erie?

It is a professional organization with a lot of history, pride, and a good reputation and respect as a top law enforcement organization.

Why did you want to be in law enforcement?

I come from a long line of family members who have been in some form of public service or military. I have seen over the years the gratification they had when given an opportunity to help someone in either a small or big way. I truly want to give back to the community that stands behind our profession and what we do on a daily basis.

Tell us about your average day.

Only being 3 weeks on the Erie PD my average day is all about training. Ask me in about 6 months and I am sure to have a much different answer! That is the best thing about this job, no two days are the same.

What are you doing when not working?

I am enjoying the outdoors with my wife and our dogs.

Favorite Movie and Music?

Tim McGraw - but it frequently changes!
