Weather Spotter Training

The Weld County Office of Emergency Management is hosting the National Weather Service for their annual (and this year in person) Weather Spotter Training. This training is invaluable to residents and is offered at no charge, but space is limited. Residents can learn about what to look for during extreme weather events and how to share that on-the-ground knowledge with weather scientists. Did you know Weld County historically has more tornadoes spotted each year than any other county in the country?

Sign up for Weld County’s Roots newsletter and view the upcoming March 7 edition for more details on this training.
