Outstanding Resident AwardThe Outstanding Resident Award is a new award to be presented to Erie residents, non-profits, or organizations who have made significant contributions to or positively impacted the community. The Town will accept nominations for community leadership, heroic action, humanitarian efforts, service, volunteerism, business success, and personal or professional achievement. To nominate a deserving resident, please complete the Outstanding Resident Award Nomination Form by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021. Awardees will be chosen and recognized formally by the Board of Trustees in January 2022 and awarded with a commemorative brick laid in the heart of the Town at the Erie Community Park.

Face Covering Order for All of TownEffective Sept. 11, 2021, at 12:01 a.m., and remaining in effect until the Boulder County Order is rescinded, each of the requirements of the Order will apply throughout the Town of Erie, in both Boulder County and Weld County. Community Survey ResultsThe Board of Trustees were presented with the results of the 2021 Community Survey on Tuesday, Aug. 24. The National Research Center provided their findings and released an online dashboard to view the opinions of the representative sample and the open-to-all participation survey. Erie continues to rank high on quality of life and facets of livability. Nine in 10 respondents also awarded a high rating to Erie as a place to raise children, which was a higher-than-average score.
