Traffic Advisory:  Erie Community Center - Powers Street Closure

On Tuesday, August 31, work will commence on asphalt repairs resulting in a full closure of Powers Street north of Erie Parkway to the Library's parking lot access drive.  This work should be completed by Wednesday, September 1.  The west sidewalk of Powers Street will remain closed to pedestrians.

Access to the Library, Erie Community Park, and Ballpark at Erie, will be via the west entrance off of Erie Parkway.  See map below.  This entrance is right-in, right-out only.

Please note that the Erie Community Center will be closed to the public August 30 - September 6 for annual maintenance.  Only staff and contractors will be allowed to access the ECC during the closure.

RTD's JUMP route will remain in service during this closure.  Buses will layover on County Line Road South of Walgreens.  

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
