WCR 5 Lane Closures Between Erie Parkway and WCR 10
Beginning the week of August 2, 2021, IHC Scott will continue road work on Weld County Road 5 between Erie Parkway and Weld County Road 10 as part of the WCR5 Development Improvements. Work is expected to continue for months, weather permitting.
Work hours will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday until August 16. Work hours will then be 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, starting August 17, 2021, and continuing throughout the project. The construction will involve daytime lane shifts and lane closures on WCR 5. During this project, the Erie High School and Soaring Heights PreK-8 School will have full access 24 hours a day from WCR5.
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area during work hours. Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on-site to enable travel through the construction area in a timely and safe manner. Delays may occur, and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
