Traffic Advisory:  Erie Community Center - Powers Street Closure - Starting Tuesday, July 6

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, work will commence on the installation of underground utilities for Erie Community Park - Final Phase resulting in a full closure of Powers Street north of Erie Parkway to the Library's parking lot access drive.  This work should be completed by July 14.  The west sidewalk of Powers Street will also be closed to pedestrians.

Access to the Erie Community Center, Library, and Ballpark at Erie, will be via the west entrance off of Erie Parkway.  See map below.  This entrance is right-in, right-out only.

RTD's JUMP route will remain in service during this closure.  Buses will layover on County Line Road South of Walgreens.  An RTD Rider Alert will also be posted for this route.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
