Update:
Beginning the week of June 1, 2021, road work will continue on Weld County Road 5 near Erie Parkway as part of the Westerly Development Improvements. Work is expected to continue for multiple weeks, weather permitting.
Work hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The construction will involve daytime turning lane closures on Erie Parkway and full lane closures, and single lane traffic on Weld County Road 5 in effect from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. The traffic signal at this intersection will be in a flashing 4-way stop during the 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. work hours. After work hours, all lanes will be open to traffic and the signal will operate under normal conditions.
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area during work hours. Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on-site to enable travel through the construction area in a timely and safe manner. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
