Traffic Advisory: WCR 5 at Erie Parkway

On May 3, 2021, road work will begin on Weld County Road 5 near Erie Parkway as part of the Westerly Development improvements. Work is expected to continue into June, weather permitting. 
 
Work hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The construction may involve daytime lane shifts and closures in effect from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. After work hours, all lanes will be open to traffic.
 
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area during work hours. Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on-site to enable travel through the construction area in a timely and safe manner. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
