State Updates COVID-19 Dial Levels; Town of Erie Currently in Yellow
This week, the State of Colorado updated many parts of the COVID-19 Dial. Some of the updates to the levels include increasing capacity limits for some sectors, loosening mask mandates in some specific situations, and extending “last call” times for ordering alcohol in restaurants. Currently, both Boulder County and Weld County are operating at Yellow on the State’s COVID-19 Dial. For individuals this means that gathering sizes should be limited to no more than 10 people from no more than two households and anyone in a high-risk health category is still encouraged to stay home. For businesses in Erie that have become 5 Star Certified, they are now able to operate in Level Blue. This allows for greater capacity limits, even later “last call” times, and larger events both indoors and outdoors.
