Street Striping through November
A Department of Public Works contractor continues to apply striping paint to streets in various locations throughout the Town. Work is generally performed during the week in evening hours between 7 p.m.., and 5 a.m., with striping in and around residential areas is performed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. On Sunday, November 8, street striping will be applied in various areas of town between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Town of Erie requests that pedestrians and bicyclists stay clear of the work zones. Please remember to obey traffic control staff and all traffic signage. Cones will be placed in work areas to notify drivers of the fresh paint in the area. Please do not drive over the fresh paint as it may cause tracking or paint damage to your vehicle. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
For more information on this project, please contact the Town of Erie Streets Department,
