On Monday, October 5, Brinkman Constructors began work on the Nine Mile Corner development located on the southeast corner of Highway 287 and Arapahoe Road. The first priority, is to grade the entire 47-acre site to prepare for the installation of public infrastructure.
Beginning Monday, October 19, the utility contractor will begin installations. This work includes crossing Arapahoe Road with a water line to supply construction water. This initial utility crossing could take a week; weather permitting. Additional utility crossings are expected and full installation of utilities is expected to be complete in approximately twelve months.
What You Can Expect
Daytime lane closures are expected on Arapahoe Road between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with work beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m.
Traffic control signage, delineators and flaggers will be on site to enable motorists to move through the construction area in a timely and safe manner during work hours.
