New Striping and Configuration and Signal Lights
Proceed with Caution on
County Line Road and Vista Parkway
With the traffic signal installation at the intersection of County Line Road and Vista Parkway, the striping has been reconfigured to accommodate the new traffic signals when they are put into service. The acceleration and merge lane onto southbound County Line Road from Vista Parkway has been removed since it will no longer be necessary with the signal lights.
At this time, the Traffic Engineers are working on a timing program for the controller. They will adjust the cycle length at the intersection of Arapahoe and County Line Roads for progression because of the distance between the two intersections. When the timing program has been configured and tested, the signal lights will be put into service.
In the interim, drivers should be aware of the new traffic movements and proceed with extra caution until the signals are put into service in the next few weeks.
