Springtime Street Crack Sealing

Beginning March 16, 2020, a Department of Public Works contractor will begin applying a hot poured crack seal material to arterial and collector streets as well as neighborhoods including Canyon Creek, Airpark, Northridge, Old Town, Baxter Farms, Candlelight Ridge, Meadow Sweet Farm and Creekside. Work will be performed in the neighborhoods and on arterials and collectors from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday; weather permitting. 
 
For resident’s safety, the Town of Erie requests that pedestrians and bicyclists stay clear of the work zones. Residents in areas of work will be notified with a door hanger and posted ‘No Parking’ signage. Please observe traffic control devices and to keep parked vehicles in driveways until work has been completed.
 
Work areas may periodically be reduced to single-lane traffic during daytime construction hours.  Alternate routes are advised.  Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclist are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
