The fireworks event is on Monday, July 3 and will once again be at the Erie Community Center with viewing areas all throughout Erie Community Park. Parking for the event begins at 6 p.m. with food trucks and other vendors set up near The Post pavilion at the newest section of the park. Fireworks begin at roughly 9:30 p.m. depending on lighting and weather conditions. Check the Site Map and the event page for more details.
Please remember that no alcohol, glass, or personal fireworks are allowed at the event. If you plan to bring a tent or other shade structure, be sure to bring weights or sandbags (no stakes are allowed in the park) and ensure you aren’t obstructing views of people surrounding you. Pets are allowed at the event, though all must be leashed and for their own comfort we recommend leaving them at home. Anyone who can bike or walk to the event is encouraged to do so as parking will be limited around the area.
The Erie Community Center will close at 1 p.m. and parking lots will be emptied to complete setup for the evening event. Parking lots will re-open at 6 p.m. for those driving to the park. Anyone who is able to walk or bike to Erie Community Park is encouraged to do so as parking and traffic will be congested.
All Town facilities, including the ECC, will be closed to the public on Tuesday, July 4. This does not include closure of any public safety services.
