Beginning Monday, Nov. 14, Claystone Construction will initiate work on the new Four Corners development at the southwest corner of Erie Parkway and County Line Road. This development is an exciting piece in the overall progression of the new Erie Town Center project and when constructed will consist of 457 residential units, and 125,000 sq. ft. of commercial space (retail, office, and mixed live/workspace). The 45-acre project will also include neighborhood parks, green space, and public entertainment space.
Interested residents can attend a groundbreaking ceremony with staff, elected officials, and the contractor:
What: Four Corners Groundbreaking
When: Monday, Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m.
Where: Intersection of Erie Parkway and County Line Road – more specifics to come.
Construction for the new Erie Town Center began with the Erie Commons development on Erie Parkway at Briggs Street, east of County Line Road. This new Four Corners project will be the first of four properties to begin construction on the west side of County Line Road. Construction on the three remaining properties in the area is expected to begin by 2024/2025.
Residents and regular commuters to the area will see traffic impacts beginning late November due to utility line running and other construction activities. Updates will be provided as the work progresses and drivers should plan accordingly. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
Erosion control measures were installed on the site during the weekend of Oct. 28-29, and physical grading and site work at this corner will begin on Nov. 14.
