Between midnight and 2 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, three catalytic converters were stolen from three Toyota Priuses in three different neighborhoods in Erie (Old Town, Colliers Hill, Erie Commons).
Three suspects in a white sedan approach the vehicles parked either on the street or driveway and within five minutes, using a jack and Sawzall, are able to remove the emission-control devices.
Erie Police Investigators are reviewing surveillance and urging residents to check to see if they may have also been a victim and to please call 303-441-4444.
