UPDATE 5-1-2015: Work is still being done to complete this project, it is anticipated the parking lot will remain closed through the month of May.
Beginning Monday, March 30 through Friday, May 1, contractors will be performing work to repair and improve the parking lot at Erie Parkway, adjacent to the Ruth Schrichte Trail portion of Coal Creek Trail, weather permitting. Improvements will include additional capacity, drainage upgrades and new asphalt surface and markings. Hours of construction will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The parking lot will be closed to all vehicles and trail users during this period. Work, once begun, shall be completed as soon as possible to provide minimum inconvenience to adjacent property owners, trail users and the traveling public.
Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to this work zone and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
