Boards & Commissions

The Board of Trustees appoints both statutory and advisory boards to provide input and make recommendations on an ongoing or as-needed basis. Two statutory boards are required by the Colorado Revised Statutes (A): the Planning Commission by CRS 31-23-202 and the Board of Adjustment by CRS 31-23-307. Advisory boards are mandated by Town of Erie ordinances.

Vacancies

The Board of Trustees appoints members to the Town’s various statutory and advisory boards and commissions. Appointments for vacancies are made by the new board following the regular municipal election. Appointments will also be made by the board at other times, when necessary, following a resignation or other unexpected vacancy.
