Pawsitivity Patrol

Starting in June 2021, Code Enforcement and Police Officers will be on the lookout for off-leash dogs. Don't get 'nipped', but rather be 'high-paw'd' and receive a special treat!

While out and about in Erie you may see the 'Pawsitivity Leash Patrol' educating dog owners on the importance of keeping their dogs on leash. The Pawsitivity Patrol will be handing out information and asking for your assistance in being good neighbors. Is your dog on a leash? if so, you might receive a 'High Paw' and a special thank you treat!

Through the summer months, the heat is on. More neighbors, kiddos, and dogs are using the trails, paths, and parks. Please take a moment to be extra good neighbors and dog owners.

  • Please keep dogs on a leash at all times, if not in the 'Boneyard Dog Park'
  • Please pick up after your dog
  • Please license your dog with the Town of Erie
