Awards & Recognitions

The Town of Erie accepts nominations for awards, celebratory recognition, and more. For more information, please see the nomination forms below.

Outstanding Resident Award

The Outstanding Resident Award is presented to Erie residents, non-profits, or organizations who have made significant contributions to or had a significant positive impact on the community. Residents are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals for consideration for the award often. Selection criteria are broad, as contribution and impact can be measured or determined in different ways. Things such as community leadership, community organization involvement, heroic action, humanitarian efforts, service, volunteerism, and even things like business success, personal or professional achievement, or recognition brought to the Town of Erie community as a result of an individual's efforts.

Each nomination will be given the utmost consideration. When a nominee is selected for the award, the nominator will be notified by the Town of Erie and the next formal recognition will be by the Board of Trustees in January. The award itself is a commemorative brick laid in the heart of the Town, at the Erie Community Park. To enter a nomination, complete the nomination form
