Available Parks & Recreation Facilities, Programs, and Amenities
The table below is your one stop shop for frequently asked questions about programs and events, ECC memberships, operations and the status of parks & recreation facilities.
What are the ECC Hours?
- Monday-Thursday 5 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Friday 5 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Sunday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Certain areas of the Center require pre-registration for a timeslot to gain access. Use your Amilia account online to gain access to the following areas:
Timeslot registration open 7 days for fitness classes and KidStation. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance by contacting Guest Service (303.926.2550).
You will need to show your timeslot confirmation, either on the app or from your receipt to access the facility.
Timeslot reservations are no longer required for drop-in gym, pool, or fitness floor use (upstairs or lower cardio area). Membership, punch pass, or daily admission may be used to access these areas without any prior pre-registration.
We are continuing to make every effort to keep our facilities safe. This includes frequent sanitization of high touch surfaces, nightly fogging with a hospital-grade disinfectant, upgraded air filtration, and a reduced capacity in facilities.
Per Public Health Order 2021-08, all individuals ages 2 and older visiting the Erie Community Center, are required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. This order will take effect on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. Exceptions to the mask requirement include patrons using the pool, patrons who are eating or drinking, or any patron under the age of 2. This new mask guidance is intended to curb the spread of COVID-19 so we can avoid implementing capacity limits, distancing requirements, or another shut down.

We're here for you! Please come and enjoy our pool, climbing wall, gym, fitness equipment, fitness classes, fun activities, and more! Or consider hosting your next nerf battle themed birthday party or special occasion with us. Know we are committed to providing a safe experience for our staff and patrons! Additional safety measures include regularly disinfecting equipment and high touch surfaces, improved air filtration systems, required daily symptom check for staff, and more. Most recently, the entire Erie Community Center was cleaned top to bottom during closure week. Thank you for your patronage and we look forward to seeing you at the Center!
Not comfortable returning to the ECC in-person but still want to access our fitness classes?
We have you covered! We are pleased to announce a virtual library of archived and live exercise classes available exclusively for members. Classes include HiiT, Barre, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, SilverSneakers, and more. If you are interested in gaining access to our virtual fitness library, please email email@example.com.
Interested in utilizing outside amenities for your recreation needs?
Erie’s got it all! Be sure to check out our Disc Golf Course, the Singletrack trails, or our new pickleball courts at Columbine Mine Park. You can also explore more than 50 miles of trails, play at one of our 13 parks, or go fishing at Thomas Reservoir or Erie Lake!
Would prefer to cancel your membership, activity, or rental?
We're still here for you! We will honor all refunds for unused time and/or participation in our programs. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with cancellation information. We hope that when the public health order is lifted, you’ll consider returning to our programs and services again. We truly value all of our customers and are committed to serving the Erie community.
Please do not come to the Center if you or a member of your household are feeling sick. Taking your temperature prior to arrival is highly encouraged. CDC defined physical COVID symptoms: Shortness of breath, tightness in chest, cough, fever of 100.4F or higher, congestion, muscle or body aches, vomiting or diarrhea, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
Be safe and please be respectful of one another! We will get through this together.
Is the pool available for my family to swim?
Yes, the pool is open for drop-in access.
Are drop-in sports available?
The following drop-in activities are open, no reservations required: basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. Basketballs, racquets, glasses, towels, and other check-out equipment is not available. You must bring your own equipment. It is your responsibility to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from other patrons.
- Racquetball Courts are available for online reservations 48 hours in advance
- Limit four persons per court
Are locker rooms accessible?
Yes, our Men’s, Women’s and Family locker rooms (cabanas) are open and available to patrons, using social distancing guidelines:
- We strongly encourage you to shower and use the restroom at home whenever possible
- Increased cleaning and sanitization efforts may require the closure of some cabanas during operating hours
Will Mini Miners and KidStation be available?
KidStation is now available by timeslot reservation.
Mini-Miners is OPEN the following:
- Monday-Thursday: 5-9:15 a.m.; 1:30-3:15 p.m.
- Friday: 5-9:15am; 1:30-5:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 12:30-6:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Is the Columbine Lounge open for drop-in activities?

Will I get a refund for cancelled programs I’ve registered for?
Yes, you will receive a refund for any program or activity the Erie Parks and Recreation Department cancels if the cancellation is due to COVID-19 restrictions.
How will I know the status of the programs I’ve registered for?
Program staff will communicate directly with participants regarding the status of programs. If you have an immediate question, please email email@example.com.
What about special events, are they cancelled?
No, however events are following all necessary precautions. Please check our event specific web pages for detailed information regarding each event.
Does the ECC offer any virtual services or content?
YES! Please check out our Virtual Programming page to learn more about virtual workouts, nutrition counseling, sports camps, and more! We are also providing virtual fitness classes (live and pre-recorded options) to ECC members, please email for access.

Are sports fields available for rentals or practices?
