Block Party Permit Application
All special events, circuses, carnivals, or similar exhibitions, parades, processions, or open-air meetings conducted within the town are required to obtain a permit prior to commencing activities.
- Block Party Permit applications must be completed and submitted to the Town Clerk at least thirty (30) days prior to the date the activity is to occur.
- Block Party Permits will be evaluated based on state and county public health orders and guidelines, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, please visit the State’s Safer at Home’s outdoor guidance and the Public Health and Environment webpage.
Step One:
Download and obtain signatures on the Petition for a Block Party Street Closure (PDF) if you require streets to be blocked. A map is also required in the Block Party Permit Application designating street closures. Emergency vehicles must have access.
Step Two:
Complete the Block Party Application with uploads of your Petition for a Block Party Street Closure and Map, if desiring street closures.
Step Three:
Upon acceptance of the permit application, a permit will be issued by the Town Clerk.
