Fireworks Show

Fireworks from rooftop of Erie Community CenterIndependence Day festivities in the Town of Erie have varied, and changed over time. From parades to concerts, speeches and baseball games to pie eating and pageants. But one thing has always been constant; a celebration among friends and family under an illuminated sky.

Schedule of Events

  • 1 p.m.: Erie Community Center Closure
  • 2 p.m.: Parking Lot Closure (ECC and Erie Community Park)
  • 2 p.m.: Pickleball/Tennis Courts Closed
  • 6 p.m.: Event Parking Begins
  • Dusk: Skate Park Closed, no lights programmed for the evening
  • 9:30 p.m.: Fireworks Show 
    • Note: Show time approximate, based on lighting and weather
    • Fireworks will launch from the rooftop of the Erie Community Center. 
  • 10 p.m.: Event Conclusion
  • Food trucks and vendors on-site, recurring throughout
