The American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), has announced that Erie Parks & Recreation is a Finalist for the 2012 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.

Adopted by the Board of Trustees March 9, 2010 the purpose of this Parks, Recreation, Open Space & Trails Master Plan is to provide an integrated, visionary plan to guide the development of the Town's parks, recreation, open space and trail facilities, programs and services. The Executive Summary provides a concise introduction to the organization, methodology, findings, goals and recommendations of the overall plan.
