I-25 Master Plan Project Update

During Tuesday night's meeting, the Town’s consultant for the I-25 & Erie Parkway Master Plan Project provided the Board of Trustees with an update and a presentation of preliminary options.

This Master Plan covers the 1,280 acres of land located at the northwest corner of I-25 and Erie Parkway. The Town’s intent is to create a regionally-scaled retail and employment center at Erie’s eastern gateway servicing the Northern Colorado marketplace. A key requirement for the project is the establishment of a truly unique place; one that will provide for the integration of land uses, multiple modes of transportation, incorporation of unique architectural and sustainable elements, and the efficient use of both public and private spaces.

The Town's consultants and Town staff will be at the Downtown Neighborhood Block party, this Friday, June 15th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. for a second Community Engagement event. Residents are encouraged to stop by the booth to provide input on this project.
