National Prescription Drug Take Back Day


WHEN: Saturday, April 28th - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Erie Police Station & Municipal Court Building, 1000 Telleen Avenue, Erie

The Erie Police Department is participating in a National Prescription Take Back Day to aid Erie residents in removing potentially dangerous substances from their family medicine cabinets. To participate please bring all substances to the Erie Police Department & Municipal Court Building, at 1000 Telleen Avenue, on Saturday, April 28th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A national prescription take back day provides a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted or unused controlled medications other pharmaceutical substances to law enforcement officers for destruction.


  • Needles and Sharps
  • Mercury (thermometers)
  • Oxygen Containers
  • Chemotherapy/Radioactive Substances
  • Pressurized Canisters
  • Illicit Drugs
