PiE Workshop #3

Town of Erie Logo

Last week, during workshop #3, PiE team members conducted focus area strategy sessions for Existing Businesses, New Construction, Municipal Energy Leadership and Education and Outreach.

Partners in Energy, or PiE, is a two-year collaboration between the Town of Erie and Xcel Energy to develop and implement our community-driven energy plan goals. PiE team members consist of Erie residents and representatives from the following: Xcel Energy, United Power, Erie Chamber of Commerce, Colorado State University Extension, St. Vrain Valley School District, Boulder Valley School District and the Town of Erie.

Why PiE and why now? 95% of Erie residents support making government buildings “greener” including being more energy efficient and using renewable energy sources.
