More Information about the Entertainment District:
The establishment of the Entertainment District is a direct result of conversations between the Town and Downtown restaurant, bar and brewery owners who make up the “Promotional Association.” The Promotional Association assumes liability for the sale of alcoholic beverages within the designated Common Consumption Area for specified dates and times only.
In order to create the Common Consumption Area, the Briggs Street and Wells intersection is closed to cars during the Farmers Market and Downtown Neighborhood Block Parties transforming the heart of Downtown into a pedestrian-friendly area
