Erie Police Asking For Your Help

The Erie Police Department is notifying the public that they are aware of reports of two pickup trucks driving around the Vista Ridge and Erie Commons neighborhoods in an attempt to sell meat products. The reports also describe the men driving these pickup trucks as having approached children and asking where their parents were. Other than attempting to illegally sell the meat products, there appears to be no imminent danger to the public at this time.

The pickup trucks have been described as a white 2008 Ford and the other as a silver Nissan. Both pickups have freezers in the beds of the pickups. The Town of Erie has not issued a solicitors license to anyone conducting this type of business.

The Erie Police Department is asking to be contacted if anyone has any information, sees these vehicles or is able to get a license plate number. Please contact dispatch at 303-441-4444.
