During Tuesday night’s meeting, the Board approved the Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails (PROST) Master Plan Update. The Master Plan reflects the vision and guiding principles of the Erie Comprehensive Master Plan and balances community needs and interests with current and potential funding sources. This Plan provides the Town with a vision and plan of action to meet community needs over the next five to ten years.
The final draft of the PROST Master Plan was presented at the January 10, 2017 Board of Trustee meeting. The Open Space and Trails Advisory Board, Town staff, Trustees, and interested residents were given the opportunity to review the final draft and provide feedback. Comments were reviewed and included as appropriate.
The Board approved a resolution accepting dedications as shown in the Erie Highlands Filing No. 11 Final Plat and authorizing the approval of the Erie Highlands Filing No. 11, Development Agreement which outlines obligations of the Town and the owners. Erie Highlands Filing No. 11 is located south of Erie Parkway and west of Weld County Road 5. The Final Plat subdivides approximately 148.5 acres into 88 lots, 12 tracts, and associated easements. The Board approved a resolution accepting the dedications on the Flatiron Meadows Filing No. 10 Final Plat and authorizing the approval of the Flatiron Meadows Filing No. 10 Development Agreement which outlines obligations of the Town and the Owners.Flatiron Meadows Filing No. 10 is located south of Erie Parkway and west of Flatiron Meadows Boulevard. The Final Plat creates 65 single family lots, 5 tracts and associated right-of-ways on 42.6 acres.
