Have an interest in learning how to better prepare you and your family for an emergency or disaster? Do you have a desire to help others in need? If so, then the Erie Police Department’s 4 hour Emergency Preparedness Class is just what you’ve been looking for! This class will be offered at two different times, when registering please indicate which session you are enrolling in.
In this class participants will learn how to create an emergency preparedness kit and a communications plan to keep themselves and their families safe. Participants will also learn disaster skills; what to do in an emergency; how to cope with a disaster during and after the crisis; and how to prepare their home for an emergency.
This course will be instructed by members of the Erie Police Department.
